Working on the head, neck, shoulders, upper arms and spine, energy points, known as "tsubos", are stimulated by pressing on them with fingers, arms and elbows. It uses the same principles as acupuncture, but without the needles, and is an excellent way to relieve stress as well as to reduce general aches and pains. It leaves the recipient in a state that I refer to as "alert relaxation".
